Aims & objectives

The objectives of the training were:
• to establish new contacts among organisations working with people with disabilities,
• to build partnerships for future activities,
• to exchange experiences in the field of work with young people with disabilities,
• to explore the opportunities of the YiA Programme for the international work with young
people with disabilities,
• to learn about the realities of work with young people with disabilities in all participants’
countries

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Training brought together 24 participants from 13 countries (Programme and EECA) - representatives of organizations working with disabled young people.
Team: A Hungarian trianer (Timi Sofalvi), a Polish trainer (Wojtek Szczepanik), an Armenian trainer (me), 1 organized from Polish NA (Karolina Suchecka), and 1 organizer from SALTO EECA (Tomasz Szopa).

- Study visit to organizations working with disabled young people
- Youth in Action and other youth programmes' presentation
- Partnership building and development of projects

Outcomes of the activity

- Created contacts for future cooperation;
- Shared information and facts about reality of working with disabled people in their countries,
- New projects created during the training;
- Learning about new cultures.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Preparation and adaptation of the content and methodology of the training based on the aims and objectives set out by the organizers, implementation (as one of 3 trainers) and evaluation/reporting assistance.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
