This is a reference for Nugzar Kokhreidze
The project:promotes young people’s active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular; develops solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union; fosters mutual understanding between young people in different countries; contributes to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organisations in the youth field; promotes European cooperation in the youth field.
There were 2 different parts of Europe: Member states of EU and and Caucasus Region. We have 64 active and creative young people ( 7 Particpants + 1 group leader) who came from 8 countries Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Italy, Moldova, Ukraine and Turkey .
non-formal education methods: training, brainstorming, ice-breakers, performance etc.
The expected impacts on participants were connected to prevention of cultural discrimination, creating positive and emphatic attitudes for differences, progress in personal and professional development and increased interest about active participation in community life. The realization of the project activities involve people form disadvantaged backgrounds parallel in the countries involved in the project with a following sharing visualization of the results and outcomes highly contributed to the level of motivation and experience sharing. The youth involved in the youth exchange would further organize their own initiatives in their respective communities, for which they received full methodological (and wherever also logistical) support from the partner organizations. This way they can acquire very different key abilities, which are useful for their future life (Methodical: e.g: determination, organizational abilities, problem solving, thinking in connections etc. , Social: communicative abilities, cooperative abilities, emphatic, tolerance etc. Personal: creativity, impetus, ability to cope with pressure etc. )
As the neighboring regions involved in the project are quite far geographically and it is very hard to provide face-to-face contacts, it is very important to have a relatively cheap and user friendly platform for communication, sharing experience and development of joint initiatives.
Aside the youtube video we created we make and a facebook group in which people still talk to each other, exchange some ideas and look for people for future projects This tools were used for visualization of the results, promotion of Youth in Action Programme, promoting the project results and outcomes and finding new interested young people who would like to be further on included in this type of projects. Further on, not only the project influenced our participants- continuing working on raising awareness about social exclusion via visual tools- it will influence the local community included in the movies.
I was responsible to organize training modules and different kind of the training components, like: ice-breakers, brain storming, performances.
