Aims & objectives

The aims of the event: to help volunteers to understand their situation and act appropriate in a new project and a new culture; to empower volunteers to deal with stress, difficult situations, conflicts and crisis situations; to support volunteers planning and reflecting their own learning process/progress

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Volunteers from the Program Countries serving in Ukraine, Moldova or Belarus. Average age 21-23

Training methods used & main activities

Experiential learning, presentations, simulations, exercises, creative approaches, small group discussions, working with images.

Outcomes of the activity

Volunteers take more initiative and ownership over their actions and their learning process. This is something that enables people to grow and undergo enormous personal changes.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Facilitation of group work. Preparation, delivering and evaluation of the training.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
