Nordic Thematic seminar

Aims & objectives

Nordic Thematic seminar is a yearly run activity for E+ and ESC beneficiaries from Nordic countries in the youth sector. Aim is to discuss, share and learn from each other. This year the topic was Quality. Nordic Thematic is organized together with all Nordic NA´s and one aim is also to support and strengthen Nordic cooperation among NA´s.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants were E+ and ESC beneficiaries form Nordic countries in the youth sector. All Nordic countries were represented Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. There were almost 130 participants.

Training methods used & main activities

Big group effected the chosen methods. We used some creative methods for getting to know and boost networking -like photographing, board games, discussion card etc. For formal parts we had lot of parallel sessions that was based on participants sharing, key note speakers and pane discussion.

Outcomes of the activity

Based on the feedback from participants and from organizer it was successful event. Biggest achievement were new Partners and good connection between NA´s and participants

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I together with other facilitators, we were part of the reparation team. During the event we were taking care of overall flow of the event and hosting sessions in main plenary (targeted for all participants).

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
