Aims & objectives

Bring together youth workers from different cultures, backgrounds, countries, allowing them to develop a certain knowledge of intercultural learning; giving them the opportunity to discover and experiment new Non Formal Education methods to apply this NFE knowledge to local youth working.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

youth leader, holiday camp leader, youth worker, volunteer, anyone working or dealing with youth issues.

Countries: France, Poland, Croatia, Romania, Spain

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal education methods, tools from non-violent communication and intercultural understanding; role games, simulation exercises, team-building, debates and discussions...
Each participant played an active role on each stage of the project.

Outcomes of the activity

This TC open the world of non-formal education; theories, methods, tools, activities... to a new generation of youth workers.
Moreover, by experiencing the basic process learning in an intercultural setting, improved participants awareness towards other cultures and increased their abilities to work
in an international team.
A publication inspired by the outcomes of this TC will be soon online.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a full time trainer, working together with organiser Marion Sauteraud from Aroeven and the co-trainers Andreea Bulai (ADDO, RO) and Aleksandra Podrebarac (Carpe Diem, HR) in the idea, design and implementation of this TC.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
