Aims & objectives

- Supporting participants to deal with the current context of young people’s lives and for transferring fundamental values to the societies where they live.
- Exploring bias, fears and failures, focused on risks in NGO work connected with the most problematic issues: a need to find best methods to reach the sensitive young people, critical thinking, sense of initiative of young people, fund raising for the activities and call for volunteers.
- Fostering the quality of the managemental skills of the participants in human resources, financing, and public relations.
- Improving the leadership and entrepreneurship skills of the participants with study cases and simulations.
- Promoting diversity and intercultural dialogue, building multi-cultural educational atmosphere by making networks and partnerships.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

At this training course 32 participants were coming from 14 following countries:
Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Jordan, Lithuania, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey.

Training methods used & main activities

At this TC I was using "storage" of Salto Youth tools. I was trying to use as much as we can and connect them with our topic. Some of methods and activities we did are:
- Presenting the best practices spearheaded by youth in NGOs about EVS and other programs in organizations
- I prepare a presentation and after that group workshop on a topic "TASKS AND CHALLENGES OF A PRESIDENT/MANAGER OF AN NGO"
- Introducing participants to the tool “YOU ARE MY LEADER" where I tried to show them how to become a leader, how to step in front of the group and how to work and lead the group.
- Elaborating concrete methodologies to spread awareness about the importance of managing NGO as well as the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to contrast it among young people and organizations.
- one of the most important activity was BUSINESS ENTERPRISE VS SOCIAL ENTERPRISE where I teach the participant how to work on their own business with social inclusion through social enterprise with business challenges.

Outcomes of the activity

-Knowledge of managing NGO and taking care of its administration

- How to become a leader, how to take responsibilities and care about the group. How to take care of the team and to be part of the team with great leadership skills.

- Skills in devising online Campaigns to address specific issues of NGO administration in new media environments.

- Attitudes of cooperation and team-work in an international environment.

- Skills of devising NFE tools and approaches to care about the quality of the work in NGO and their programs with direct education of youngsters.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was one of two trainers. My responsibility was to lead session mostly connected with NGO management and administration together with other manuals and tools to provide good knowledge. Other trainer was covering other activities and assist me if it was needed.

On this training, I was a full-time trainer, through all activities and during all days of training.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
