TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The main aim of the training was to support the quality development of youth participation projects, by offering the space to youth leaders to create partnerships and initiate common projects on the topics or social causes identified in their local contexts.
The training gathered youth leaders and workes from listed countries, who wanted to initiate international projects withing actions Youth Exchanges or/and Youth participation activities in order to address the needs in their (local) enviroment. The training was implemented in a way wich enable participants to reflect abouth (youth) participation, get to know both Actions, find partners and start to develop projects. In this way the training fitted to the goals of participating organisations.
The target group of the training were 21 youth leaders and workers from Bosnia and Hercegovina, Albania, Montenegro, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Latvia, Germany, Italy and Kosovo (UN resolution), The international team was composed of trainers from Greece and Slovenia and representatives of Ntional agmencies and Salto center situated in Slovenia, Estonia and Latvia. Working language was English.
There was a short 1,5 h long pre-activity in the form af zoom meeting, to get to know and start connecting (activities in changing pairs and trios in rooms) .
The training methods used were Methods: activities for getting to know each other and bonding, story-telling, individual and group reflection, theory in-puts, buzz groups, discussions in buzz gropus and in the forum, the circle method, forum, coaching, designing a project with a help of template, peaching the proposal and on-site visit.

The result of the activity were 6 international project ideas for Youth exchanges and Youth participation projects, which are readdy to develop further and apply for funding. Participants were equiped with knowledge abouth Erasmus+: Youth, especially both mentioned Actions, abouth the concept of participation and about the role and support they can accept from National agencies. Moreover, participants and their organisations established new partnerships, not only for here developed project ideas, but also for further common work. After the activity, participants were offered suppoort in finishing their project proposals and applying for funding.

My co-trainer Konstantionos Spatiotis and I were responsible to plan, deliver and evaluate the training, prepared materials and templates. Tha training had a strong team of coordinators which also participated in providing resouces, materials and support for participants.
Polona is a highly experienced trainer, professional and fully committed.
The collaboration with her within the Project Lab was smooth and the results were great, thanks to her positive and hard-working attitude.
