Aims & objectives

The aim of the project was to promote the presence and the role of young people as positive actors of change in human rights, social inclusion and democracy through film-making as a tool for transformative learning.
Objectives
- To give participants an opportunity to produce audio-visual materials to use in youth activities,
- To develop a non-formal framework for film-making as a tool for transformative learning,
- To support the field presence of the European Commission in order to promote the values behind the institution.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

38 youth workers, youth leaders, and participants with autism from 8 countries made 7 short documentary films on Human Rights and Human dignity.

Training methods used & main activities

Group discussions, filmmaking; presentations, interactive real-life learning experience; simulation exercises, follow-up projects development, and networking.
