Aims & objectives

This partnership building activity was aiming to create a space for networking and establishing new co-operation between organisations who holds European Solidarity Corps Quality Label (for volunteering activities) and were interested to targeting the projects to NEET-youngsters (young people not in employment, education, or training). The aim was to explore how European Solidarity Corps Volunteering activities can be used with this specific target group and find partners for future volunteering projects.

Aims and Objectives:

- One aim of the activity was to establish and build up partnerships among organisations to co-operate in the future volunteering project that are focusing in NEET-youngsters. During the activity we also got familiar with elements of good and strong partnership and shared the understanding, why it is important when working with this specific target group.

- The other aim was to learn the possibilities that European Solidarity Corp program, Volunteering activity has to offer. During the activity we explored different types of volunteering projects (long term, short term, team volunteering) and understood how it can be used. Specific focus was to get to know the different supporting elements/ finance instruments that the program has when working with NEET youngsters.

This activity was for organisations:
- who has European Solidarity Corps Quality Label
- who work with NEET youngsters directly or in management level or/and who are interested in making volunteering projects with NEET-background youngsters

Training methods used & main activities

We used groups discussion, team building methods, creative methods (like creating organisation presentation with garbage bags), dialogue with big group and some outdoor activities like walk and talk/treasure hunt. All the methods were based on non-formal, including participatory approach.
