Aims & objectives

The main goal of this activity is to explore Storytelling and gamification
pedagogy as creative methodologies to explore intercultural learning.

OBJECTIVES

- To promote quality and innovation of youth work;
- To share and confront ideas, practices and methods regarding

storytelling and gamification pedagogy

- To develop key-skills for the implementation of activities regarding
storytelling and gamification pedagogy to work on intercultural

learning;

- To develop the international network
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

- To understand the basis and importance of storytelling and
gamification pedagogy to unlock intercultural learning processes;
- To learn how to create and implement activities to explore cultural
identities and promote intercultural dialogue through storytelling and

play-full pedagogy with youth;

- To develop key-skills, values and attitudes related to intercultural
learning, like openness and curiosity, negotiation skills, tolerance of
ambiguity, knowledge of cultural differences in communication,

empathy, critical thinking, among others.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The trainers Karin and Fredrik Wouda implemented the training for youth workers from Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal and Turkey

Training methods used & main activities

The activity will follow the principles and values of non-formal learning and experiential learning, Awesome people's educational escape rooms was used, group discussions, self reflection ect.

Outcomes of the activity

Together with youth workers from Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal and Turkey Awesome People got to share our good practices such as intercultural learning exercises, educational board games, educational escape rooms and storytelling methods. The group then implemeted a workshop in thier own countires and organisation
