Aims & objectives

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
Offer a detailed vision of the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus + Program exploring in depth and with a theoretical-practical approach, its main characteristics and equipping the participants with the knowledge and resources to present quality projects in the framework of this action.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

TEAM
Alberto García García (Spain)
Monia Izabela Wisniewska (Spain)
PARTICIPANTS
24 participants from the following countries participated in the course: Spain, Turkey, Estonia, Iceland, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Greece and Italy. The profiles have been quite heterogeneous, with two people (Evangelia and Manuel) coming from formal education and the rest from non-formal education. In addition, Manuel works for both formal education (Universidad de Juan Carlos) and non-formal education through an association.
Among the participants the level of experience was very high, having requested an Erasmus + project almost half of them and even some have been program evaluators. This helped to establish a high level of demand, as well as to improve the quality of the course, thanks to their contributions and contributions.

Training methods used & main activities

During the KA2 Unveiled: an in-depthview of Erasmus + Key Action 2 course we applied an experimental learning methodology. All theoretical contents have been transferred to the practice through cross-sectional MY PROJECT sessions. Each participant has had the opportunity to think about their own KA2 project and start planning it during the course, using the CANVAS Erasmus + tool, designed specifically for this training activity. It was a free choice so some chose to work on their project and others, supported the editors of the projects closest to their interest.

Likewise, throughout the activity, methodologies based on the principles of Non-Formal Education were used, facilitating a structured but flexible framework for the development of the learning process and guaranteeing maximum participation. Thus, techniques based on gamification were used, as well as cooperative work.

Respecting the principles of non-formal education, participants were at the center of the learning process. As far as possible, the course contents were adapted to match the interests of the participants, both those identified prior to the start of the course (thanks to the evaluation questionnaires) and those identified during the activity itself ( thanks to the reflection groups and the intermediate evaluation).

Outcomes of the activity

After the training 24 youth workers and educators have won a detailed insight in the KA2 Strategic Partnership action line of the Erasmus+ program and are now fully able to design, apply and to implement projects within this action line.
A Virtual Repository has been created in Google Drive in which all the materials used in the course sessions have been shared, as well as the Contacts Agenda and various support materials related to the activity.
Also, it should be mentioned that materials from the various training sessions are also available in open on Internet Platforms, such as Quizzlet, Kahoot or Actionbound. In this way, they can benefit a large number of people, beyond the participants in the activity.
All these materials are distributed under the CreativeCommons license (Attribution - Non-commercial | BY - NC) or Public Domain. In all of them, there is a mention of the Erasmus + program, in whose framework they have been developed.
