This is a reference for José Oliveira
The activity was especially addressed to newcomer organizations/participants but also open to organizations with experience that were interested in knowing new partners.
By exploring the new European Solidarity Corps in different dimensions, methods and resources, this TC intend to promote innovation and creativity in the developing of youth volunteering activities by exchanging methods, experiences, points of view and ideas.
The objectives for this TC were:
- to ensure a thorough understanding of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC);
- to explore and understand the different roles within a ESC project ;
- to feel inspired by non formal education methods and exercises that could help the organisations and their actors to fell more empowered and acquire new skills and competences;
- to provide space for sharing realities, experiences and good practice examples;
- to share and exchange new methods for developing competences and recognise learning with young people;
- to provide space for networking between participating organisations and planning of further Partnership Building Activities, Seminars, Volunteering Projects, Solidarity Projects, Traineeships and others.
We have 23 participants, representing 7 countries: Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden and Portugal.
Through the principles and practices of non-formal education and in an atmosphere where participants can learn from each other and act with each other , “Jump into Solidarity” will open an intercultural dialogue and will make room for the acquirement of new skills and the exchange of methods and experiences within the volunteering world.
