Aims & objectives

In the theme of Erasmus + Youth Exchange program held at Sigerslevhus and hosted by Youth Spectrum Organization.
Profile of participants:
● Educators, youth workers with youth work experience who are directly involved in working with young people who are having different cultural backgrounds.
● Motivated to develop their intercultural competencies and boost their enthusiasm to work with young people including young people with fewer opportunities in the
field of intercultural understanding and dialogue.
● Youth workers and educators who have the organizational support for further activities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants from Denmark, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Poland, North Macedonia, Romania, Croatia, Türkiye and Italy.

Training methods used & main activities

Gamification, peer-to-peer discussions, Participatory learning approaches.

Outcomes of the activity

To understand the concept of value and cultural identity
To understand the link between values and culture
To understand the influence of our culture on our behaviors and our points of view
To understand cultural differences and similarities between people affect their values, attitudes, and behaviors.

My task was designing the training and the materials, then delivering the training.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
