Ideas in Action

Aims & objectives

Ideas in Action was a project which aimed to spread the concept of social entrepreneurship among youngsters.
Specifically the objectives proposed were:
- Spread the concept of social entrepreneurship among European youth developing projects envolving various national and international realities.
- Share knowledge on the different aspects of an action plan referred to a juvenile or social enterprise initiative, and the process of creation (legal paperwork, fundraising, practices and
characteristics of different initiatives, projects, etc.)
- Share experiences and best practices on various social initiatives, especially those driven by youth.
- Establish a network of European work within which young people can develop projects and generate synergies in social entrepreneurship
- Promote different European programs for youth (especially Erasmus plus) as an opportunity that allows young people to put their ideas into practice to improve the situation in their own communities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

24 young people, youth workers and entrepreneurs from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Romania and Greece.
The organizer's team was composed by professional trainers coming from Portugal, Spain and Romania.

Outcomes of the activity

The final result of the activity were 8 concrete project and business ideas produced in international teams. Those ideas were presented to several local stakeholders of the venue of the project in a open presentation in the public library.

Responsiblities in the implementation of the training course, application and reports writing, logistics and project dissemination.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
