TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Soazic Bachelet
The first EuroPeers Advisory Group (EAG) started from March 2022 till March 2023, the second edition started from there.
The main aim of this training was to present and celebrate the work of the old EAG members making transition with the new ones. In that sense, it was important for all members to get to know each other and to foster bonds and collaboration between the new EAG.
Besides, it was important for new members to understand better what is the Advisory Group within the EuroPeers network and start planning together the year ahead.
Target group included young people aged 18-30, old members of the EAG and new members. Members had been previously recruited by the International Coordinator upon motivation and skills and were already very active in their local network.
During this meeting, we had 18 participants coming from various European countries already part of the EuroPeers network (Austria, Estonia, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Romania, The Netherlands and Sweden).
2 remaining members (Belgium, Poland) were not able to attend the training.
As for myself, I was closing the year of my participation as an EAG member while starting my new role as a Junior Trainer with the new AG.
We used various non formal education methods.
On my side, I facilitated various energizers (including a guided meditation) and a Human Map to get participants to create bonds.
Other activities involved artistic methods (make a movie poster of what the EAG journey meant to you) and also included the ‘’Guess my passion’’ game as an evening entertainement.
There were also individual and group tasks activities to describe yourself, your skills and your areas of interest for future focus group.
The training proved to be very successful since participants highlighted the benefit of meeting for the first time face-to face to foster greater motivation and enable better online collaboration for the future.
While the old members managed to handover the previous year work on many creative ways as a transition, the new members got a better understanding of what the EAG entails and what could be their future roles.
Besides, this training offered old members a nice closing and a celebration of their work.

I was responsible for the planning, designing and delivering of this training with my colleagues, 3 Senior Trainers and the International Coordinator.
I also gave individual and group support to the new EAG members when working on focus groups.
I have known and worked with Soazic for a few years now and she is very passionate about what she does and really cares about her participants and the process. She is always looking at how she can improve activities and create new ways of working with inclusion, sustainability and creativity
