Aims & objectives

The need of the project is encouraging young people to get involved promoters of a more sustainable environment through active citizenship, participation and the desire to be motors and promoters of good practices; it aims to disseminate the philosophy of saving non-renewable resources, kilometer zero consumption and the approach of Zero Waste recycling, creative reuse and recycling.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

25 young people between 18 and 25 years and 6 group leaders from Italy, Turkey, Romania, France and Greece.

Training methods used & main activities

All activities will be based on non-formal and informal learning, on full involvement of young people through methods of "learning by doing", peer education and sharing.

Outcomes of the activity

Results of the evaluation processes were great, thanks to the efforts of the trainers team and to the openmindness of the group and to the place that helped to manage the training sessions in the best way as possible.As a result of the project, the participants will develop an urban garden and the its impact on the well-being of the planet will be measured.
The youths made aware the public through exhibitions and flash mobs in the streets, and through the internet and social networks, tried to thrill even their friends on environmental issues.
All materials and information created by the participants are published and disseminated online.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I've been responsible for the trainers team, coordinating all the phases during it and taking part to every session.

I worked on this training for 10 days as a full time trainer.
