Aims & objectives

The German youth IGF seeks to engage more young people in Internet Governance processes, to educate on ongoing internet policy debates and create a more welcoming, participative space in the Internet Governance fora.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group had 10 participants from Germany and Austria.

Training methods used & main activities

The training was facilitated in an open format, using buzzword introductions, brainstorming to select the topics, open discussions with a facilitated speaker and collaborative writing techniques.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I am project manager of the European Youth IGF project which supports several national initiatives and was facilitator for the meeting.

I worked on this training for 1 days as a full time trainer.
