TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Alicia Carpio Obré
The objectives that this event had were:
● Offer a space for dialogue and share of good practices among EYCA member
organizations.
● Create better and stronger links between EYC services and youth policies or programs.
● Support EYCA member organizations to build partnerships among themselves and
exchange good practices beyond the event.
There were 31 participants coming from 16 different countries, from European and neighboring countries.
They were representers of diverse institutions and profiles, mainly from Public adminsitrations, NGOs, youth leaders, and public institutions.
One of the main goals of this seminar was to increase the knowledge among participants, but also to project the early future of the actions that the youth card organizations can develop.
In this sense, the method applied was planned to provide space and time to think, analyze and project.
The agenda allowed participants, at least, to make a concrete approach to start the process, make a starting point for future development.
This process was based in the methodology of Design Thinking.
As a result of this seminar participants developed diverse actions:
- the created a draft empathy map of the profile of youth as target group
- the generated the areas of interest of EYCA and trends/topics.
- the defined diverse possible ideas/projects to tackle those areas of interest and to develop in the early future.
Collective construction is always a learning process where diverse ideas, positions and visions come together to debate, discuss and find common points, that is mainly what the event promoted.
I was the only facilitator of this event.
My task was to plan and design part of the program, methods and timing of this sessions,
Then I developed the facilitation of the event together with the EYCA coordination team. After the event I developed a report with the results of it. All the coordinations and agreements were within the coordination team of EYCA.
I confirm working with Alicia and having a great experience in all phases of workshop facilitation: preparation, delivery and reporting.
