Aims & objectives

The aim of the project is to engage youth workers in intercultural learning, empower them with skills of
gamification and storytelling and connect youth workers from different countries to learn from each other.

Objectives:
Provide time and space for youth workers to try out methods related to intercultural learning

Empower youth workers with skills of how to engage young people in intercultural learning

Implement an intercultural workshop using methods of gamification and storytelling

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group of trainers Karin and Fredrik wouda togheter with international volunteers took in youthworkers from different fileds such as teachers youth trainers, youth center workers from Romania
Greece, Hungary, San marino, Spain, Iceland, Macedonia, Belgium, Turkey and Netherlands

Training methods used & main activities

The trining was done non.formal and with different methods such as Awesome People's educational escape rooms, world cofe, 4 corners and many more non-formal ways of learning, daily reflection and key-competences game.

Outcomes of the activity

Our participants were able to explore different ways to promote intercultural learning through educational escape rooms and board games. Explore Örebro city through storytelling and gamification and dive into the techniques of storytelling and listen to each others personal stories. After their explorations, they created their own Intercultural Workshops for other people with great success!!

My role was being a co-trainer with Karin wouda, Building, implementing and reporting the activity full time

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
