Aims & objectives

OBJECTIVES OF THIS COURSE:

• Set EVS volunteers in their projects, providing skills to develop their project and deal with difficulties that may arise during it.
• To prepare volunteers for the cultural adaptation and personal challenges.
• Put volunteers in contact with other other, facilitating the construction of a network and future meetings.
• Provide with resources to empower the learning process in EVS
• Clarify possible doubts in the beginning of the EVS

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The activity was targetting the EVS volunteers coming from all over Europe and some non-EU countries. Usually we had a mixture of about 10 different nationalities.

Training methods used & main activities

During the training we have used: discussions, reflections, sharing, group work, simulations, presnetations and many more.

Outcomes of the activity

Volunteers get equiped with the tools and techniques to enjoy fully their EVS journey.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Member of the team, responsible for the designing of the activity, it´s implementation and evaluation.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
