Aims & objectives

The training course aims at empowering the participants to share their experience and act as multipliers for the European Youth Programmes on a peer level. At the same time, the participants become part of the international EuroPeers network, which offers many diverse opportunities for participation and networking.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The training is designed for participants who have had their first experience with an EU programme and have joined or want to join the EuroPeers network. They should have a great motivation to further the goals of the Network and preferably have some experience in the field of promotional activities.

Ten countries were represented at this training course: there were participants from (in alphabetical order) Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain.

We had 23 participants: 9 male, 14 female. The youngest participants were 20 years old, the oldest one 30, and the average age was a little over 23. In terms of EuroPeers experience & knowledge, the group was very diverse. (In the evaluation form, two participants rated their previous knowledge of the network with a 5 out of 6, and two participants with a 1 out of 6.) The same goes for their knowledge of and experience with the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. Some had “only” participated in one project/programme before attending this training course, while others had experience with several programmes, and/or with running a project / applying for funding themselves.

Training methods used & main activities

Some methods we used:
- (Info) Market Place
- EuroPeers Museum / museum of experiences
- Open Space methodology
- Walk & Talk

Outcomes of the activity
