TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The aim with this project is to show youth workers methods, tips and tricks as well as provide space for practice in order to overcome common issues they can face when dealing with organizing and implementing projects.
The objectives are:
1. Participants will understand their responsibilities in all phases of the Erasmus+ projects: preparation, implementation and dissemination.
2. Participants will develop and improve this 5 crucial soft skills of project managers: leadership, communication, team-work, relationship building and time-management.
3. Improving your ability to be part of the implementation team of an E+ project and to become more proactive and ready to take more responsibilities.
The team of trainers consisted of two trainers. Participants were 24 youth workers, youth leaders and project managers from differents countries:
Romania
Bulgaria
Poland
Italy
Spain
The training was based upon non-formal education approach. A combination of different creative and interactive methods were used such as Ice-breaking and Getting to know each other activities, Workshops, Discussion, Community project - guerrilla actions, Individual work and counseling, Theoretical Input, Presentations, Personal, group, and meta-reflections, video exercises and evaluations.
Participants in this training course will learn how to:
- develop top quality projects
- improve their connection, relation and communication with stakeholders
- get to know some tips on more environmental solutions for the projects
- empowering youth workers to keep up their active approach
- help youth workers boost their leadership skills so they can manage all stages of the project
- practice time-management, negotiations skills and team
- work in safe, international space through non-formal education methods
My responsibilities included:
• design of the program and methodologies,
• delivery of the sessions,
• further help with inquiries and materials for participants.
