Aims & objectives

Learn the main rules and definitions of communication
Learn basic concepts and techniques of interpersonal communication.
Learn tools and techniques to be assertive in their communication;
Learn the importance to set up goals and learn how to make a communication strategy for external parties (students, university, partners).
Make a communication plan applicable in their section and learn how to follow up on this plan
Practice real life situations where the participants need to communicate with an external stakeholder: public speaking, presentation...

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Co-trainers were a Mozambican (me) and a Spanish.
Participants came from several parts of Europe: Portugal, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Sweeden,

Training methods used & main activities

Brain Storming, Silent Discussions, Need Assessment, Feedback activities, Team Building Activities. And all activities were followed by a debriefing based on the Kolb's Cycle.

Outcomes of the activity

At the end of the training participants were better communicators as when they first got there. And they reported to have less stage freight as well.

Co-Design and Implement all workshops/sessions for the 3 Day Training of Communication focused on Public Speaking and Presentation Skills.
