AIM
This mobility aimed at favouring an environment where participants would learn about the heritage and the view on European heritage from different countries and peoples of Europe. The senior citizens got acquainted with educational materials and prepared programmes on ecological themes. During the training, participants learned tolerance and acceptance for people of different religions, skin color or cultural heritage; they were presented the developed programme of work with seniors in the field of environmental education; and experiences methods and topics which were worked on by the staff of the organization during previous mobilities. Finally, participants were asked to develop a project or small local initiative or action for environmental education of the local community.
OBJECTIVES
- to get to know the heritage and view of European heritage from different countries and peoples of Europe
- to get acquainted with educational materials and prepared programmes on ecological themes
- to establish environmental teams made up of seniors and a coach to coordinate environmental activities among peers
16 senions (8 from the Greek partner, and 8 from the Polish partner) were the main beneficiaries of the training. Furthermore, the mobility involved 4 representatives of the consortium (2 form EKO and 2 from Fundacja), and one support facilitator from the Polish partner.
The total number of participants was 21.

Workshop on Handicraft products (i.e. soap, bracelets, everything done through recycling products).
Developing methods and a program of work with seniors in the field of environmental education tailored to the specificity and needs of the region.
Intercultural Exchange.
The outcome of the training activity produced the following results:
- Development of 7- 8 months programs of work in which seniors where involved in the field of environmental action.
- Development of two senions (one per partner) local initiatives (projects/programs/activities) for community education and carry out this initiative over a period of 7- 8 months.
- Establish two (one per partner) senior environmental teams, responsible for leading the local initiative and supporting partner educators in implementing the on-site education plan.
Trainer, Organiser, and Project Manager
Stefano is a very good trainer, he conducts classes well organized and according to plan. During his classes, he ensures the activity and involvement of the participants and stimulates their creativity and curiosity about the topic.
