Aims & objectives

The Training Course was written by our local experienced trainers with the main aim of improving the project management of projects on a local, international and inter-continental level. and will be comparing best practices, cooperating to create projects and learning about important issues regarding Inclusion, Intercultural (inter-continental), learning and the development of personal competencies and skills to organise better projects.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The international cooperation of project has been set over a very vast area of Europe and Eastern Europe and Caucasus with 3 partners coming from EU, the pre-accession country of Turkey and 4 partners from the Asian Continent. 24 participants will be meeting in the warm Mediterranean weather of Malta in Spring 2013.

Training methods used & main activities

The methodology used to conduct the whole training course will be based on non-formal education. The fact that the participants will be required to carry out a lot of group work will promote the idea of non-formal education as they will not only be required to learn about the topic at hand (as they would in a formal education environment) but they will simultaneously be learning the life skills of team work, leadership, tolerance and so forth. Making use of the non-formal method of education requires the use of a number of different exercises that may appeal to the different senses and tastes of the participants. These different exercises could vary from a simple and quiet group discussion about a topic to a humorous role playing exercise with an important moral behind it. These exercises are likely to help the participants grow personally and socially as they are given the opportunity to explore who they are, and their role in society. They are able to get a glimpse of their weaknesses and strengths and are gently encouraged to work on both.

Outcomes of the activity

he biggest Impact will be made on the completion of the main activity where the participants will have the opportunity to share what they have learnt during the TC back home in their countries. They will use all the experience they achieved regarding the various topics of the TC: Making a Needs analysis, creating aims and objectives, risk assessments, evaluating and reporting, Promotion, Non-formal learning, Inclusion and inter-cultural dialogue and cooperation and most of all how to prepare a project from beginning to end keeping all minor details in mind.
