Aims & objectives

The aim was to improve the understanding and practices toward quality youth participation. Other aim was to learn more about the possibilities within the Erasmus+ Key Action 154 “Youth Participation Activities” and how to ensure youth participation is properly implemented in all stages of a project or participation initiative.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The training was open for youth leaders and youth workers. Participants were representatives of youth/youth work organisations or informal groups of young people from different European countries like Finland, German, Netherlands, Estonia.

Training methods used & main activities

The training was based on non-formal methods like group discussions, interactive quiz, treasure hunt, educational games and facilitated dialogues. There was also paralle sessions and inputs from visitors from the field.

Outcomes of the activity

Based on the feedback and evaluation with the team the training was succesfull. Most of the aims was achieved. The purpose of this training was to pilot the training module and design it so that it can be easily repeated later.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

The trainers team composted in 3 trainers. We worked as equal members of the team and we were responsible to design, implement and evaluate the activity.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
