TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Annina Kurki
The aim was to improve the understanding and practices toward quality youth participation. Other aim was to learn more about the possibilities within the Erasmus+ Key Action 154 “Youth Participation Activities” and how to ensure youth participation is properly implemented in all stages of a project or participation initiative.
The training was open for youth leaders and youth workers. Participants were representatives of youth/youth work organisations or informal groups of young people from different European countries like Finland, German, Netherlands, Estonia.
The training was based on non-formal methods like group discussions, interactive quiz, treasure hunt, educational games and facilitated dialogues. There was also paralle sessions and inputs from visitors from the field.
Based on the feedback and evaluation with the team the training was succesfull. Most of the aims was achieved. The purpose of this training was to pilot the training module and design it so that it can be easily repeated later.
The trainers team composted in 3 trainers. We worked as equal members of the team and we were responsible to design, implement and evaluate the activity.
Annina is an exceptional trainer - great and easy to work with!
Her capacity to advance youth participation topic, Erasmus+, combined with choosing appropriate non-formal learning methods, led to the success of the training.
I strongly recommend her as an expert for various youth-related activities, not just training.
