As organization, we would like to start this contamination between these two sector as we believe youth circus and theatre are powerful tools to explore the individual and group identities, stimulating and improving relational skills in a non-competitive and safe space. The trainers team is committed, in this TC, to create an environment where mistake is admitted and useful to get inspired and discover new practices.

Participant profile:
Youth workers, trainers and facilitators who already get in touch with art education, theatre in youth work, and youth circus. We believe that everyone can do theatre and circus, and more people will explore this world, and more practices, values and experiences will be spread around so: just be ready to challenge yourself!
Is requested that participants be committed to sharing the experience lived during the training (delivering training, activities, sharing content/theories/methodology).
The aim of this training course is to share the practice of physical theatre and clowning in order to give new tools and methodology to deal with the error as a source of learning. We will explore which obstacles we are setting in our learning process, how we manage frustration, and all the emotions related to failure. All the contents will be explored through experiential learning so participant will have the occasion to live activities, find insight and leaded to theory and reference that trainers are using.
in particular:
Improvisation and the forum theater as example of theatre applied to non-formal education;
Exploration of systemic and holistic approach in youth work;
Clowning and the character of clown as agent of change as reference to develop the attitude to expect the unexpected;
Get in touch with the concept of “Performance Society”;
Feedback methodologies and tools.

In this mobility I was responsible in the coordination of the working team and connection with the hosts of the hostel.
I worked ion the partnership, preparing partners for participant selection, then organised a kick off meeting for participants.
Before the mobility I prepared the training concept and script and shared with the co-trainer.
During the week, I delivered most of the activities, related to circus, physical theatre, theatre of the Oppressed and Youth Work
