Capacity Building Modules on Project Idea Generation and Initial Partner Identification within the Territorial Cooperation Programme Moldova-Ukraine

The training activity took place
in Chisinau, Comrat, Balti (Moldova) and Odessa, Vinnytsa, Chernivtsy (Ukraine)
organised by "Eastern Partnership territorial cooperation support programme" (EAPTC)

Aims & objectives

The objective of the mission is to assist the beneficiaries from eligible regions in Moldova and Ukraine to generate project ideas and start initial partner identification
Geographically, the mission to facilitate modules B2 Project Idea Generation and B3 Initial Partner Finding will cover the Moldovan Macro-Regions of the North, Centre and South (including the autonomous region of Gagauzia) and the Ukrainian regions of Odessa, Vynnitstya, Chernivtsi .

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The mission involved around 200 state and non-state actors from Moldova and Ukraine

Training methods used & main activities

During the seminars the participants were involved in activities such as : getting to know each other; identification of common problems for Ukraine and Moldova;discussion of common solutions; going in the filed visits ans sharing the experience; developing common project ideas and identifying the further steps for continuing the work.

Outcomes of the activity

At the end of the activity were created Ukrainian -Moldovan partnerships and were developed different project ideas which lately will be applied for getting grants.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

a) Attend preparatory meeting with fellow Short Term Experts, establishment of the route and Moldovan-Ukainian STE Working Pair, who will adapt the programme to their competences yet maintaining the programme's objectives.
b) Accompanying the beneficiaries to the field visits from Moldova to Ukraine, and from Ukraine to Moldova, by collecting participants at the meeting points until the venue.
c) Moderating the meetings and presentations, facilitating the foreseen activities, supporting the created working groups as described in the programme of activities.
d) Following up on the created working groups who have identified an initial partnership and a draft project idea, by ensuring their submission of the draft project idea 14 days after the end of the Field Visit, as well as collecting the first draft of project ideas from participants who still did not find a partner with whom to work.

I worked on this training for 18 days as a full time trainer.
