TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Sarah Beeftink
This training was aimed at training experienced educators and trainers in youth work to become equipped in dealing with intra- and interreligious dialogue within an intercultural youth work setting. The main aim of this training course was ‘to develop and implement a qualitative learning programme on value-based assistance in non-formal education, aimed at generating strategic impact on DBYN and the wider European youth sector’.
There have been 18 young people participating from 8 countries and 9 nationalities.
We have used experiential learning, group and individual work, outdoor education, good mornings and good nights and creative methods.
Increased knowledge and skills for dealing with intra- and interreligious dialogue within an intercultural youth work setting.
The start of a qualitative learning programme on value-based assistance in non-formal education, aimed at generating strategic impact on DBYN and the wider European youth sector.
I was one of the trainers, especially focussed on developing sessions about human rights and value-based education.
Sarah took part in this training course as one of the two main trainers. She did a great job in the intercultural team but also with the participants from 7 different nationalities.
She delivered nice sessions, full of content that the participants could understand and use for themselves. The fact that the participants had different levels of experience didn't stop her to deliver a quality training where everyone could get something out of it.
I look forward to work together with Sarah again in the future.
