The profile of the participants is very diverse both in terms of the educational field in which they operate: formal - preschool, primary, secondary, special or non-formal, but also in terms of age with participants from 20 to 57 years old. The team consisted of 10 participants per country, therefore, 10 participants were from Greece, Spain and Romania.
Through diverse workshops and activities which were oriented to the holistic development of the participants, the learning objectives of this training course were met, since the participants explored visual arts for educational purposes, they got familiar with using digital tools for educational purposes, they shared experiences and good practices and they have a better view of the educational reality in different countries.
Some examples were creativity workshops, getting-to -know-each-other, ice-breakers, teambuilding, creative writing, reflection and evaluation activities.
The participants have developed both professional and personal skills. They had the opportunity to learn a big number of tools were very useful for them, as well as share good practices regarding both digital and art methodologies that they use in education or youthwork. Through these workshops, they developed their artistic, digital, presentation, organizing skills and creativity. At the same time, the participants had to cooperate in a multicultural environment and they created a national and international network of cross-sectorial education professionals which will be useful for their future and will work as a support network. In addition, the participants stated that they had the chance to “refresh their understanding of the learning process”, as a participant has written in the Youthpass, by having again the role of ‘learner’ and by learning experientially, through non-formal education activities. Thus, the “learning to learn” competence of the participants was highly developed.
As a trainer, I supported the design of the learning process (before the TC) as well as the learning process of the participants (during the TC). Specifically, I was responsible for the following activities:
*Energizers and ice-breaking activities, to support the participants in having energy for the activity and in coming closer to each other.
*Activity on digital tools for creating comics for educational purposes.
*Assisting the open space for the participants to introduce their personal workshops and projects.
*The evaluation process.
