Aims & objectives

Tha aim of the training course was to explore the concept of Belonging through arts, theatre in particular, with the elements of body work and clowning.
The objectives were:
- to understand the importance and the role of belonging in youth and community work
- to explore different artstictic techniques
- to create networks
- to equip pax with non-formal learning tools

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The participating countries were Greece, Spain and Ireland
The trainers team was from Greece and Spain

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal learning, drama, movement, clowning, land-art, nature connection, learning by doing, self-directed learning, creative reflection ad evaluation.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants mentioned that the training course
- supported them in shaping their understanding of Belonging
- increased their capacities of working with young people using artistic methods
- improved their confidence in combining youth work with community education

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

We were 3 trainers and our tasks were shared equally in terms of the design, facilitation and the follow up of the training course.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
