TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

Tha aim of the training course was to explore the concept of Belonging through arts, theatre in particular, with the elements of body work and clowning.
The objectives were:
- to understand the importance and the role of belonging in youth and community work
- to explore different artstictic techniques
- to create networks
- to equip pax with non-formal learning tools
The participating countries were Greece, Spain and Ireland
The trainers team was from Greece and Spain
Non-formal learning, drama, movement, clowning, land-art, nature connection, learning by doing, self-directed learning, creative reflection ad evaluation.
The participants mentioned that the training course
- supported them in shaping their understanding of Belonging
- increased their capacities of working with young people using artistic methods
- improved their confidence in combining youth work with community education
We were 3 trainers and our tasks were shared equally in terms of the design, facilitation and the follow up of the training course.
Dasha was an exceptional trainer during all the stages of this TCA. Her professionalism and knowledge on designing and facilitating impactful processes contributed greatly to the quality of this activity. She holds expertise on the themes of community engagement and community development through the medium of arts. She delivers her methods combining creativity and efficiency.
