Aims & objectives

"Active Youth Inovates" is a training course for youth leaders and workers who wants to develop and share their creativity as an essential competence to open the job market or starting their business plans. The main topic is to understand the new paradigm of the youth employment in Europe and how a creative approach together with the right attitude can open many doors and the market for young people.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The training course “Active Youth Innovates” brought 24 participants from seven different countries, four EU partners from Estonia, Austria, Greece, Portugal and four neighbouring EECA partners from Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

Training methods used & main activities

The training course uses methods of experiential learning as role-plays, simulations and other non-formal education methods working and sharing all together in small and large groups. Together with participants we was working out and improving new methods' in order to succeed in the very dynamic job market.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants in the end of the training was able to reflect about youth unemployability vs labor market in the 21st century. Develop they competencies in order to become competitive in the labor market.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Me and my co-trainer Marco Santos was resposable for all TC. We try to work together and in pair to facilitate the sessions.
Durring the training we make:
* teambuilding activities
* discussion about Non-Formal Education and Job Market, Reasons of Unemployment and Support
System, Pros and Cons of Unemployment, New Skills for New Jobs
* we create framework for participants to discover concept of Creativity and what it means Creativity in practice
* later we provide space for personal development by: Mapping my competences, Me as a Team Member, My Protofolio, Me and Market Possibilities
* a the end of training we discuss about proect ideas and develop our personal plan for future cooperation

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
