Aims & objectives

A TC based on theatre as tool for social development, using methods of non-formal education by means of an active participation. TC focused on the topics of Intercultural dialogue and Social exclusion.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The project gathered 20 participants from 10 European countries: Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Spain, United Kingdom. The training team was composed of staff from three different countries (UK, Italy, Austria).

Training methods used & main activities

The work was based on theatre workshop, physical work, performance, movement work, team building, training and other theatrical methods. The work was primarily creative, self reflective, collaborative, and intensive, largely based on movement and physical activities.

Outcomes of the activity

The TC was a huge success, giving rise to many connections between participants (multiplier effects) and generating new projects based on non-formal education methods.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was one of the two Key, full-time trainers involved. I also developed the programme of the activities beforehand and reported about them after the project ended.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
