Aims & objectives

The general aim of YE was to develop leadership skills and empower youth from different minority groups, to boost them with more possibilities and
opportunities for active participation.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

30 youth workers/staff members from 7 organisations. Countries included: Czech Republic, Germany, Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Hungary.

Training methods used & main activities

The youth exchange will be based on using non – formal technique and methods as discussions, problem solving techniques, mediation tools, working groups, icebreakers, energizers, pedagogical games, field visits, debates, brainstorming, plenary sessions with presentations by experts and participants, sharing of knowledge and best practices and simulations focused on intercultural learning.

Outcomes of the activity

During the project participants achived and shared:
- tools to develop their leadership skills in order to motivate them in becoming active citizens.
- boosted their with skills and knowledge to act as multipliers about active citizenship, intercultural education, equal opportunities and empowerment of minority youth.
-developed concrete leadership skills such as: intercultural communication and public speaking, team building, facilitation, conflict management
and others.
-shared their knowledge, information and
experience in order to act as multipliers on civil society field.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was to deliver the training, designing the info pack for participants. In the end of the project I was responsible also for Evaluation part.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
