TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

Often small and medium size NGO's do not have a PR strategy: their website is not updated, they do not know how to use social media and nobody in town knows about their wonderful initiatives.
The main aim of the project was to empower partner organisations with relevant competences and practical tools in the area of public relations, social media, journalism, advocay and promotion of their work.
14 youth workers form 6 countries. Team of 3 trainers (2 Spanish, 1 Austria).
The training process was implemented through non-formal educational methods and "learning by doing" methodologies.
Active involement of the participants, teamwork, theoretical inputs.
Special attention was paid to making the learning points of the training course relevant, sustainable and sharable.
Participants are prepared to apply further on the acquired competences by organizing follow up activities within their respective organisations and communities and among the local youth.
