Aims & objectives

- Learn more about gender and the challenges involved in working with young people at international level
- To meet and learn from 3 local organisations from Marseille working on gender issues (trans-identity, protection of women victims of violence, sexuality education) and take inspiration from their practices.
- Develop educational methods aimed at raising awareness of different gender-related issues

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

20 Participants (international youth workers) from France, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Romania, Greece, Spain, Denmark, Hungary and Bulgaria.

3 trainers from France and Germany.

Attitude of openness and curiosity to deepen knowledge of broad and complex areas such as gender
Attitude of respect for differences, different experiences and different perceptions (e.g. gender identity different from biological gender)
