29th Event Wise training

Aims & objectives

Event Wise is Olde Vechte Foundation’s longest delivered and most prominent training. It is the basis upon which the foundation brings to life its vision of love, cooperation and care. Event Wise is a dynamic personal development training that equips you with tools and techniques that increase your abilities to achieve personal and professional success while enjoying life.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

In the 29th Event Wise training 67 participants and 20 people in the trainer team participated and assisted the 2 main trainer. Participants were coming from all over the world from EU countries till Egypt, Iran, Georgia etc. .
Their common point as that they wanted to learn something about themself.
They had the will an the commintment to go trough this very intense course.

Training methods used & main activities

In Event Wise participants were the creators of their own experience! This training is about learning new skills, and participants can set their own limits regarding how far they want to go. The main training method used during Event Wise was experiential learning, i.e. learning by doing. This means that there were short lectures followed by practicing either in groups or individually.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants managed to reach their own learning goal and as a group they improved their competences. The following list is giving a general picture of the outcome of the group:

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was responsible for the organiser team.Took the team coach & supervisor role.
- To guide their learning
- To facilitate evening sharing sessions
- To prepare them for each activity mentally and physically
- To organize their time schedule
- To organise their practical tasks
- To support them by asking questions and active listening
- To facilitate small group discussions
- To do body movement with the team
- To evaluate their learning outcomes

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
