Work experience

Since 2015, I have been designing and leading various extra-curricular activities for elementary schools. I have developed a drama class, a club of board games, that worked on a regular, long term basis. I have designed many projects for elementary schools focusing on following topics: intercultural learning, first aid, human rights, ecology and green life, contemporary history, philosophy, soft skills and cooperation, literacy skills.

2016-2022, I was a summer camp leader and I lead a group of campers from being children towards being young leaders.

Since 2016, I have been the project manager in a youth NGO TOM Dumánci. Between 2016 and 2021, we organized more than 20 Erasmus+ projects. Me and my colleague built the organization from scratch and designed many interesting projects and programmes.

Since 2016, I have facilitated more than 15 youth exchanges, my focus is on these topics: non-formal education methods, intercultural dialogue, using games in education, learning in/from nature, outdoor activities, camping, soft skills, critical thinking and media literacy, youth work.

Between 2017 and 2021, I facilitated 3 "Digital Youth" training courses, during which we connected learning digital skills with intercultural dialogue and created interesting short movies addressing the topics of intercultural dialogue and respect towards diversity.

Since 2018, I have been working for Handule -a company that organizes outdoor activities for children and youth. I worked there as youth leader and medical assistant.

In 2019, I started using P4C (Philosophy for Children) and designed a 5-day project for elementary school pupils based on this method.

In 2020 and 2023, I facilitated training courses "Beginner's Guide to Youth Work" and "Skin in the Game", which aimed to improve leadership skills of youth workers who are just beginning to be active in the field. Together with my colleague Isaac, we developed a brochure with activities that can be used by facilitators of similar TCs.

2022-2024, I have been the project assistant for an Erasmus+ project Debate not Argue at the Goethe-Institut Prag. Within this project, we coordinated a partnership of 6 European organizations, develop educational materials concerning media literacy and debating and organize international workshops, online workshops in Gather.town and an international conference for 80 youth workers.

Educational pathway

2018 - 2024, I studied Area Studies at Charles University in Prague. Since 2021, I have been focusing on german-speaking countries within my Master's degree. Thanks to my studies, I have a broad understanding of contemporary history, international relations and European culture, which is very relevant for my job as a trainer. I wrote my Master's thesis about the communication formats in the cultural work of the Goethe-Institute and how the communication is shaped by various factors.

During my studies, I have twice participated in an Erasmus+ study exchange. I have studied at universities in Germany and Austria. I learned a lot about the history, culture and mentality of these countries, which is relevant for my studies as well as job.

As for non-formal education, I have taken part in a variety of Erasmus+ training courses, thanks to which I learned new training approaches and methods:
2015: Magic of Non-Formal Learning (methodology of non-formal education)
2016: Multipliers of ICL and ICD (methodology of leading intercultural dialogue and working with intercultural groups of youth and adults)
2017: Feeling Outdoor (methodology of outdoor education)
2018: Games for Change (gamification in non-formal education)
2018: Gender diversity (training on gender issues)
2019: Respect for Diversity (methodology of leading intercultural dialogue activities and promoting diversity in youth work)
2023: How to Be an Antiracist

Apart from these Erasmus+ courses, I have participated also in other courses:
2021: University course on climate change and clima policies
2018: First Aid Course for youth workers
