Lukas has almost ten years of experience in European youth work. Starting point for his career as a trainer was a European Voluntary Service in Catalonia. Since then he has organized and realized several youth projects and training courses on different topics.

Since 2014 he is involved in the support of refugees in Berlin and Europe. Since 2017 he works as a regional coordinator for a Berlin based volunteer agency connecting and accompanying volunteer managers in refugee shelters in Berlin.
