Work experience

I am a youth worker and project coordinator (since 2015) and NFI trainer (since 2017) in NGO Radi Vidi Pats. I also work as NFE trainer for Latvian National Agency (since 2020).
Mostly I cover topics of support system for youngsters, self exploration, emotional intelligence, the importance of creativity and also sustainable actions and reconnecting with the biotopes we live in.
I am also a writer and volunteer in Liepaja prison where I facilitates creative writing and bibliotherapy workshops. I also work as healthcare clown in hospital.
Right now my energy is dedicated for two main directions: 1) bringing non-formal education in prisons, and 2) empowering people by bringing them forward to nature, to reconnect with our nature dimension (environmental and climate action).

Educational pathway

I am privileged to have walked the path from a small village child to studying and living abroad in various countries.

My Bachelor from Latvian Academy of Culture is in Cultural Sociology and Management which gave me an opportunity to develop researcher's skills. As for Master degree I graduated Writing Studies in Liepaja University which has been a huge stepping point for me to develop creative writing as a tool in my educator's work.

Since 2015 I have been taking part in numerous NFE trainings, offered by Associations around the Europe.

In 2020 I took part in Training of Trainers organized by Latvian National Agency. In 2023/2024 I took part in Training of Trainers, organized by Salto Training & Cooperation. These two experiences have been a huge stepping stones in my development as trainer that also helped me to understand that I want to dedicate fully my professional life to the field of education.
