TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
http://trainers.salto-youth.net/DulioSantos/
Hello, I'm Dúlio, 25, from Portugal. I tend to claim to own many theories until I find someone who has written about them many decades before I even thought of them, guiding me to a state of comfort acknowledging the fact that there are other dreamers out there. Most of these findings I do in trainings, whether while preparing, delivering or reflecting upon them, being this one reason for me liking and making NFE part of my daily get-around toolkit.
Dúlio Santos has 4 references for past work as a trainer.
trainer; english teacher;
Always found the question "What do you do?" rather confusing. The reason why:
I'm an English teacher (using NFE as methodology), volunteer, farmer, volunteer, trainer, volunteer, project coordinator, volunteer, etc...I've done, do and will always do many different things for I believe it is within diversity that we find the necessary inter-complementarity of things, that allow us to keep on growing and developing, being better at what we do, whatever that may be.
On what have I trained?

I've been a volunteer for AFS since 2006, and it was there as well that I, without acknowledging it, was already using NFE methods while preparing and orienting students for their exchange programs in different countries. In 2009, I attended AFS's T4T and since then have participant in a few more trainings alike.
Nontheless I must say that I believe my main relevant educational background to be my practical experience in life, whether by coordinating projects for different organisations, short and long term, becoming a board member of AFS Portugal, being a founding member of a local youth organisation; experiences where I had to do quite some research and for which peer learning has proven it self to have a great deal of relevance on what it is my educational background.
