TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

Looking for connections, looking to connect others. A good training for me is one that helps you to look at your experiences from a perspective that you did not try before. When you learn from your own as well as others' experiences. When you learn in a way that does not even look learning. I worked with many different target groups, in different settings: as a youth worker with young people, with colleagues, with teachers, and currently as a facilitator at UNHCR, I work in more formal settings.

freelance trainer, senior learning development adviser
I worked for a Hungarian NGO for more than 6 years. During my work there, I had the chance to learn a lot about the teaching practices and background theories of diversity and intercultural encounters. I had the luck to not just talk about, but live intercultural encounters and their effects: first working as an EVS volunteer in Spain and after working at this NGO as a youth worker. Organising youth mobility projects (EVS, Leonardo, exchanges) and working as a mentor for participants of these projects, gave me a worderful input that (combining with my own experiences and knowledge) I could convert into intercultural training practice.
I also worked as an education researcher, and nowadays, besides facilitating, I am also involved in distance learning (e-Learning) administration and development.
I hold an MA university degree on sociology. My university thesis was a comparative study of the non-formal education in Hungary and Spain. I have always had a strong interest in education. I attended several training for trainers, and an international training course of the British Council: The Intercultural Navigators TC.
