Description of the tool

Learning through play allows for active and participatory learning, where young people are actively involved in the learning process. It also generates great motivation and engagement, capturing their interest and keeping them committed to the learning process. Another advantage of education through games is collaboration and the practice of social skills, promoting teamwork. Additionally, many games foster creativity and critical thinking by presenting challenges and problems that require innovative solutions.
Educating through games offers a fun, interactive, and effective teaching method. Games leverage natural enthusiasm, keep learners engaged, and provide opportunities to develop a wide range of cognitive, emotional, and social skills.

You(th) Play's Virtual Planet is not just another online game. It's a visionary project aimed at harnessing the power of game-based learning to empower the youth and educators with essential knowledge about environmental preservation and the fight against climate change.
At the heart of the virtual game is a dynamic gameplay experience that encourages players to think critically about their environmental impact. The game takes players on a journey through a series of questions, challenging them to make choices that can positively or negatively affect the environment. With each decision, players gain insights into the consequences of their actions, making it a powerful tool for learning.

The game is divided into 6 categories, each containing 20 questions:
-Tourism
-Ecology and Ecosystems
-Green Technologies
-Low Waste and Individual/Collective Action
-Plastic and Proper Waste Management
-Responsible Consumption and Production
Additionally, we offer two full games that include all questions from all 6 categories: Full Game (Normal Mode), Full Game (Beat the Clock).
Each game has its own leaderboard. While you can play the game with or without registration, please note that if you wish to appear on the leaderboard, you will need to create a profile.

The game is available in English, Bulgarian, Greek, French, Spanish, and Polish.
