Aims of the tool

The tool aims to foster group cohesion, self-awareness, and a deep connection with nature through meaningful, reflective, and collaborative activities. It encourages participants to explore their identity, build trust, and strengthen their sense of belonging within a community.

Description of the tool

This tool uses nature-based group activities to foster deeper connections within a community while encouraging self-reflection and personal growth. Activities like “The way of council“, “Tribe time“, “Crossing the threshold“ are designed to build trust, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose. Reflective exercises such as "Who Are You?" and “Ancestor’s walk“ help participants explore their identity and values, while routines like the “Slow morning routine“ nurture mindfulness and presence. Rooted in nature, these activities create an environment where participants feel safe to connect with themselves, each other, and the natural world.

Learning Outcomes:
- Group Cohesion: Strengthened teamwork, trust, and mutual understanding through collaborative and reflective group activities.
- Self-Awareness: Enhanced understanding of personal identity, values, and connection to ancestors and the environment.
- Mindfulness: Development of present-moment awareness and calm through structured routines and reflective practices.
- Community Building: Creation of a sense of belonging and shared purpose within a group setting.
- Cultural Awareness: Appreciation of ancestral wisdom and its relevance to personal and community identity.
- Emotional Intelligence: Improved ability to express emotions, listen actively, and empathize with others.
- Connection to Nature: Deeper relationship with the natural world, fostering environmental responsibility and inspiration.
