This is a group outdoor hiking activity combining nature and technology to create a group spirit among the participants and to encourage teamwork while exploring the nature around them.

This is a group outdoor hiking activity combining nature and technology. Participants need at least one smartphone where the Actionbound app is installed on. Internet access is only needed to scan the QR code and download the content of the activity. After this is done the participants can complete the entire expedition offline.
Main goal: to create a group spirit among the participants and to encourage teamwork while
exploring the nature around them
Objectives:
● To raise awareness about natural surroundings
● To have light physical outdoor activity
● To develop social skills (cooperation, teamwork, respect of others)
● To develop non-verbal communication skills
● To have fun as a group and create stronger bonds
Environment: any natural or rural setting
Technology: ActionBound app
Optional rules: No access to internet search machines when completing the tasks
Tasks:
● Find the dino survival pack
● Take a quiz on dinosaur facts
● Create a dinosaur using their own bodies
● Move to the next spot without losing physical contact
● Cross the lava river
● Be silent and listen to the sounds of nature
● Find different kinds of leaves
● Create a ritual for the dinosaur gods using sound, song and/or dance
● Take a group picture

Things to consider: weather conditions, players' abilities, familiarity between the participants,
technical problems with App
Feedback from demo test: to add more sounds and music related to the theme of dinosaurs, to give a clear introduction to the Dinosaur storyline in the beginning that will create an atmosphere of adventure and attract players' attention, the leader can be dressed up as the Jurassic Park guide
Possible adaptations: different age group or number of participants, difficulty of the tasks, adaptations for players with disabilities, adapted in an urban environment

Materials needed:
Ropes or something to designate an imaginary river, hard paper or small pieces of wood to be used as "stones", safety kit materials (ex. power bank, mosquito repellent, the "stones", first aid kit, etc.)
Duration:
Preparation time: 3-4 hours to explore and map the route, take coordinates, add them to the bound and then test it.
Implementation:
1.5 - 3 hours, it depends on the distance covered, the number of participants and how quickly the tasks are completed
