Presentation, Group Building Activity, Boardgame
The tool can be used in presentation of the broad topic of Erasmus + programme and Key Action 1, 2. It can also be used for brainstorming on the different topics within the action for youth mobility and for group building activity.
to set out main attitudes to topics of the project; to become aware of the different process and structure of the Key Action 1- to put focus on the different methods we can use in the youth work; - to set out the concept of learning to learn.
The activity can start with a presentation on the different activities under Erasmus + programme - Key action 1. After that divide the group in 6 small groups. Give to group a set of words which to discuss, brainstorm and find connection to each other, to talk on terms, association. You can see proposal for words in the template attached here and print it, or make it on your own cards. As part of the activity one participants of each group will go to another group and just share/listen what his/her group was talking and comeback to it after 10 min of debriefing in the new group. The main participants task in the group will be as well will be to choose words/terms which they know and to create a theatre play with them. We will end this activity with a presentation on basics What is Youth Mobility- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkQzd0tATdU, Youth Exchanges- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkQzd0tATdU, ; http://othernessproject.eu/atividades/digital/48/networking.html and can conclude with Objectives and Priorities of Erasmus + - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PXoCkgqyt4&t=1s .As well conclude with comments on the unknown words from the cards which can be proposed by the participants in the groups.
In addition the activity with the use of the tool can be realized like this :
1. Presentation on the different actions of Erasmus + - 15 minutes
2. Divide the group in small groups and give set of cards to each group -( 20 minutes group work)
3. Send messengers ( 1 participants to one group) and debrief with them on the terms -( 10 min in groups)
4. Group work - to choose words/terms which are familiar and to create a small theatre scene - (20 min group work)
5 . Present the theatre scenes - ( 5 min per group )
6. Debriefing on unknown words/presentations ( 15 min).
