The Toolkit contains a selection of the best practices developed in the learning events of "Art In (E)Motion: New A.I.M.s for Non-formal Learning" Grundtvig Learning Partnership, focused on the interaction among non-formal education and performing arts.
- To provide educators with innovative educational activities fit to create new forms of interaction, based on emotional learning and non-verbal communication;
- To enhance in learners sense of initiative and entrepreneurship; learning-to-learn; cooperation in international teams cultural awareness; social and civic competences, by helping them to overcome their rational barriers.
- To inspire organizations active in the no-profit sector with a fresh range of educational activities apt to enhance the scope of their social work
This Educational Toolkit represents one of the outcomes of "Art In (E)Motion: New A.I.M.s for Non-formal Learning", a Grundtvig Learning Partnership undertaken between September 2013 and July 2015.
The Partnership was coordinated by A.L.A. - Associazione Liberi Artigiani (Italy), also responsible for the editing of the Toolkit, and involved as partners the organizations: Breaking the Borders (Greece), Bliski Wschód (Poland), Dreams for Life (Romania) and Primigenius (Spain).
The activities contained in the Toolkit were developed during the five learning events organized by the Partnership:
"Dance of Light", hosted by Breaking the Borders in November 2013 in Corfu (Greece);
- "Community Living", hosted by Dreams for Life in July 2014 in Cluj-Napoca (Romania);
- "The Circus of Diversity", hosted by A.L.A. in September 2014 in Cantalupo in Sabina (Italy);
- "(Ice) Prison Escape", hosted by Bliski Wschód in April 2015 in Lublin (Poland);
- "The People's Theatre", hosted by Primigenius in June 2015 in Leganés (Spain).
