Youth for ecology

Project wishes to point to the issue of heavy industry and its impact on the local population and environment.

We consider that it is important to increase eco-awareness and induce the usage of renewable energy sources among population. Fact that the youth is not eco aware, informed about eco problems and their personal impact on the environment is a key problem. Faced with evident deterioration of life quality and with the help of our lifestyle and short term thinking we decided to carry out ecology based project. The project will stimulate conservation and protection of natural resources, rational usage of natural resources and raise awareness of environmental problems.

Project objectives:
1. Raising awarness about ecology problems.
2. Strenghtening the compliance of nature and world.
3. Exploring culture and language diversities, ways of thinking and actions using intecultuar dialogue.
4. Teaching the participants to differentiate key elements in conduction of eco acitivites on individual level.
5. Promoting tolerance and solidarity among youth with the growth of possibilites of mobile learning.
6. Promotion of multiculturalism through team work with participans.

During the process we will work on solving these problems through next activities:
Lectures, workshops, debates, making of short promotional video and joint activites of participants and local volunteers.

At the end participans will discover and explore the similarities and differences between their cultures. It will contribute to the meaning of multiculturalism and better practice of eco-friendly activities in everyday life.
