Youth Digital Initiative is KA220 project aiming to empower young people and youth workers with essential digital competencies in increasingly digitalized world
The "Youth Digital Initiative (YDI)" project is a comprehensive response to several urgent needs in the realm of youth development and digital literacy. By offering targeted digital skills workshops and training programs, YDI aims to bridge the digital skill gaps prevalent among young people and youth workers, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate and thrive in the digital age.
Objective: To enhance the digital competencies of youth and youth workers, fostering resilience, capacity, and inclusive participation in the digital world.
Target Groups: Youth organizations, youth workers, and young people, including those from under-represented and disadvantaged groups.
Project Activities:
Digital Skills Workshops for Youth: Organize interactive workshops where young people can learn digital skills, including basic coding, digital content creation, online safety, and digital literacy.
Training Programs for Youth Workers: Develop training programs for youth workers on incorporating digital tools and methodologies in their work, focusing on engaging young people in digital learning.
Creating and developing Interactive platform for learning experience.
The YDI platform seamlessly combines digital literacy and skill-building materials for both youth workers and young people, creating a safe, trusted, multi-layered platform for facilitating a more effective digital transformation.
