YOUTH & ACTION: towards a new generation for peace 2015

Youth aged 13 to 18 are invited to shape, share, engage visions and opinions on Peace and Conflict resolution through playful activities.

Barnas Fredsverden in collaboration with the county of Moss, the District Youth Council, EU Youth in Action and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organising every year since 2012 a Seminar for Peace in Moss, entitled “Youth + Action: Towards a New Generation for Peace”. Youth aged 13 to 18 are coming from different parts of the region, the country, europe and this year in 2014 from around the world, to shape, share, engage visions and opinions on Peace and conflict resolution through playful activities. Built on a inventive models and playful methods- through workshops, corridor talks, role‐plays, and different gatherings ‐ the seminar offers the youth a unique opportunity to work on an inspiring and sustainable dialogue for the future. Different NGOs like Play for Peace, Amnesty, CISV, Redd Barna, NansenPeaceCenter, Crossing borders, Norwegian Refugee council have helped us build up the necessary confidence and acknowledgment of our work helping us build up an exciting programme through the years.
